Being a BIG is fun! To be a BIG means:
- To mentor, role model and provide friendship to a child in Central Oregon.
- To do the activities that you like to do with a new friend and introduce new opportunities to someone special.
- Share your hobbies and interests with a child.
- To provide mutual trust and respect.
Responsibilities:
- Having Fun!
- Providing mentorship to a child.
- Providing a consistent & reliable presence.
- Developing and maintaining trust.
- Commitment to growth and discovery through support and challenge.
- Maintaining regular contact with Match Support Specialist.
Qualifications:
- To be eager to make a difference.
- To be willing to have fun and act like a kid again.
- Acceptance into the program after: interview, background and reference checks.
Time Commitment:
- Hang out with your little a couple times a month, for a minimum of 6 hours
- Minimum of 1 year
